Use nature by protecting it
Shape your living space– At LOGOCLIC® this means two things. On the one hand our aim is to meet the very highest expectations of our customers. At the same time, we realise the importance of handling our resources sustainably and sensibly. 90% of our laminate floors are made from wood. It is therefore in the nature of things to handle our most important raw material with the utmost respect. For this reason we only use wood forested from local sustainably managed forests. Thinning (‘Durchforstung’) promotes and secures healthy tree stocks. This largely prevents pest infestation and over-acidity of the soil. The tree stock is monitored and kept in a healthy equilibrium. This allows us to give a little back of what mother nature gives to us.
During production, LOGOCLIC® makes consistent use of forest roundwood, as well as slabs, chips and sawdust – all of which are natural waste products which we can put to valuable use. We transport these products for reuse –and only work with partners and suppliers in the local region – short journey times reduce the traffic on our streets and reduce emissions.
Regarding our processing plants, we also try and keep the air as clean as possible. We use the very latest filter systems and regularly do even better than the technical legal requirements for air pollution. In our plants, we use the latest generation of wet electric filters and biological exhaust gas purifiers – to keep emissions clean right at the source. Once it has got going, LOGOCLIC® manages all areas of the production process according to the reusability principle.
In other words: Wherever possible, the by-products of production are used as sources of energy thermally and as a biomass. Each waste product is collected and reprocessed in other processes where necessary. The result: Almost zero residues and no need to add to landfill. As you would expect we also make sure the paints and varnishes we use to decorate our high-quality working panels, laminate floors and panels are 100% free of heavy metals. Decorative-, overlay- and backing rolls are produced at our plant chlorine free. This allows us to satisfy the raised expectations of our customers who associate the LOGOCLIC® premium brand with top-quality natural products. You can see it, you can feel it: Our understanding of the environment can not only be found in our products but in all our production processes too. Being able to think out of the box has made us a pioneer in the industry. LOGOCLIC® has invested a lot in this area, especially in recent years and will continue to do so– The issue of sustainability will become even more important for the human race.
