* conventional sound insulation - Noppa foam: 29.6 sone, walking sound insulation with Silentos 16.1 sone. Sone is a measuring unit for loudness = how loud does the human ear perceive the noise. The sound reduction of -13.5 sone achieved by Silentos is equivalent to the difference between street noise and whispering.
