Preparation
Please note before installation!
Please read through the assembly instructions carefully before installing! Follow these instructions precisely to retain full warranty and guarantee entitlements. Please check the panels for defects in good light conditions. Once you have started using the panels, you will no longer be able to make any claims due to defects. Note: This laminate flooring is not suitable for wet rooms, e.g. bathrooms and saunas.
Preparation:
- Please store the packages in the same climatic conditions as for laying 48 hours before installation.
- An important perquisite for installation and long-term reliability of this laminate floor is an ambient climate with a temperature of approx. 20°C and a relative humidity between 50-70%.
- The substrate must be completely level, dry, clean and sturdy.
- Any unevenness in the floor exceeding 3mm over 1m must be properly evened out.
- When installing on mineral substrates, e.g. concrete, cement screed, anhydrite screed and stone tiles, etc, first take a moisture reading.
The screed’s residual moisture must not exceed the following values before installing:
Cement screed; with underfloor heating < 1.8% CM; without underfloor heating < 2,0% CM
Anhydrite screed; with underfloor heating < 0.3% CM; without underfloor heating < 0.5% CM - Carpets are not a suitable substrate. Please remove them prior to the installation.
- Laminate flooring is laid “floating” and must not be glued, nailed or fixed to the substrate in any other way (do not use door stoppers)!
- We recommend you sort the panels before laying according to the required grain direction and any colour nuances.
- Use the contents of packages immediately once opened!
